Jennifer’s 2025 Holiday Cookie Box Recipes/Ingredients

The holiday season is just around the corner, and so is one of my favorite annual traditions — delivering homemade cookie boxes to clients, friends, and community members. Every year I select a handful of my favorite recipes and bake hundreds of cookies to share a little joy and gratitude.

This year, I’m excited to take it one step further.

For the first time, all of the cookie recipes included in my holiday box will be available right here on my website. You’ll be able to scan the QR code on your cookie box and instantly access every recipe, along with tips, photos, and the full ingredient list.

Whether you want to recreate your favorites, share them with family, or add something new to your holiday dessert lineup, the recipes will be easy to follow and beautifully organized.

Gingerbread Cookies

Warm, spicy, and perfect for decorating. These classic gingerbread cookies are great for holiday gatherings or decorating with the family.

Ingredient List:

    • 3 and 1/2 cups (440gall-purpose flour (spooned & leveled)
    • 1 teaspoon baking soda
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1 Tablespoon ground ginger (yes, 1 full Tablespoon!)
    • 1 Tablespoon ground cinnamon
    • 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
    • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
    • 10 Tablespoons (142gunsalted buttersoftened to room temperature
    • 3/4 cup (150g) packed light or dark brown sugar
    • 2/3 cup (160ml; about 200g) unsulphured or dark molasses (do not use blackstrap; I prefer Grandma’s brand)
    • 1 large egg, at room temperature

  • 3 Tablespoons meringue powder (not plain egg white powder)
